Judy
Lynn
President
Judy Lynn owns Lazy Acres Manufactured Housing Community – a 55+ community in
Sequim, an arid part of Clallam County. Sequim is largely a retirement community along the Straits of Juan de Fuca. She has been an MHCW member since 1990 and active with the organization since 1996, locally, and about 1999 at the state level. Judy and her husband purchased the 74 unit community in 1990. Ms. Lynn retired as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines in 1991 after 25 years of service. She has two daughters and two grandsons.

Craig
Rongey
Treasurer
Craig Rongey is a second-generation community owner. His parents purchased
Golden West Estates in Walla Walla in 1974, and he helped expand it to 160 spaces of 55+ housing in 1990. In 1994, Craig left a 15 year career in computer network and telecommunications management to become a full-time community owner/operator when his family partnership bought Country Estates, a 140-unit, 55+ community in College Place. In 2007 they acquired Birch Tree, a 55+ community in Spokane Valley, which Craig manages. Craig divides his time between his home in the Spokane area and Walla Walla. He is a licensed manufactured home dealer and also buys and refurbishes homes for resale in his communities.

Theresa
Janzen
Secretary
Theresa
Janzen has been involved in the ownership and management
of a number of manufactured housing communities in Thurston
and Pierce counties. She served as president 1998-1999 and
2003-2004, first vice president 1997-1998 and 2002-2003,
as state secretary for a number of years and as legislative
committee chair. Ms. Janzen also serves on
the board of the South Sound Rental Association.

Robert
Cochran
Government Relations Chair
Robert
Cochran is the property manager of Contempo Spokane MHC,
a 220 unit community that his parents have owned since 1976.
Previous to becoming involved in the community, Robert was
a lighting director in the music concert touring business.
Taking a break from touring, he learned about the workings
of community management while helping with some legal research,
and eventually took over management of Contempo. He has a
B.A. in Photography from Art Center College of Design in
Pasadena, CA. In 2007, he volunteered to head up the Inland
Empire Unit.

Richard Jiles
Member-at-Large
Rick
Jiles grew up in a family that owned manufactured housing communities.
Since 1985, he has owned Skagit Valley Mobile Manor, a 172-unit community
in Mount Vernon, and he also owns other rentals. He formerly owned
Valley Mobile Manor in Kent, which he sold in 1983. Jiles has previously
served as president of the association, and he has served as president
of the Snohomish-Skagit unit. He also served as chairman of MHCW’s
Committee to Protect Property Rights.

Edlee
Quesnell
Member-at-Large
Ed
Quesnell and his wife, Julie have owned and managed a community
since 1985. He has served as Kitsap Unit President since 1989
and has participated on numerous committees for the State association.
After graduating
from college with a math degree he worked in the computer
area at Boeing and Lockheed Shipbuilding. 1969 brought a
career change when he started a retail business which he
still owns as well as owning and managing other rentals.
