MHCW Town Hall

We are excited to announce an update to our membership rate, effective January 1, 2026. The majority of the membership structure is staying the same:

• Memberships with 10 or fewer spaces are a flat rate of $100. 
• For memberships with more than 10 spaces, the cost will be $10 per space up to the first 100 spaces, and $8 per space for spaces 101 and above. 
• New: State dues will now total $200 annually, and there will no longer be a local fee assessed. 
• Memberships will continue to renew annually.

Why the Change?
This adjustment reflects feedback from our members who overwhelmingly recommended incorporating educational session costs into membership. Your membership now includes access to all online and in-person trainings, including our upcoming Rent Control trainings in January 2026. Please note that this increase does not cover conference attendance or sponsorship fees. Our goal is to maximize benefits while minimizing administrative efforts for members.

Another important factor is compliance with Washington state requirements: educational events are now subject to sales tax. By including training costs in your membership, we avoid passing this additional expense on to you, ensuring a more streamlined and cost-effective experience.
