Attend public meeting or comment online

Commerce’s Homeownership Unit (HOU) is leading the application for up to $85 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) competition.

  • Competitively awarded PRICE Main funds focus on affordable housing preservation by encouraging revitalization and enhancement to preserve existing manufactured home communities and manufactured housing units.
  • Competitively awarded PRICE Replacement Pilot funds focus on redevelopment of these communities as replacement housing to benefit households living in substandard housing or in disaster-prone areas.

More information about the PRICE funding opportunity and Commerce application materials is available online.

Public comment will be accepted via email, standard mail, and during an in-person and virtual public hearing at Commerce’s offices in Olympia.

Opportunities to comment

The draft Commerce PRICE application is available for public review and comment from May 13 to May 28, 2024.

A public hearing is scheduled for May 21, 2024, with virtual and in-person attendance options.
